We will never find our way,
in this cold place,
unless we cast away,
our history and leave them all behind,
with the rest of all the people that,
made you believe,
that you wouldn’t succeed,
they’re wrong, make it happen.

Scientists say an increasing number of women are exhibiting a growly, creaky, “annoying” speech pattern known as vocal fry.
Pop stars like Britney Spears and Ke$ha sometimes deliberately use it to hit low notes or add intrigue to their singing. Kim Kardashian is also a notorious vocal frier. Once considered a speech disorder, vocal fry is the lowest of the three vocal registers, which also include modal and falsetto. “In other words, it is the sort of gritty, sexy voice that 85-year-old habitual smokers develop.”
The rise of “growling speech”

This really needs audio.

I find it funny that something once considered a speech disorder is now trendy in mainstream “music”………

Dear every girl that reads this,
When you have a boyfriend/significant other or if you do now, there is one thing I guarantee he will not like. It doesn’t matter how well he sings, how good looking he is, or how famous he is, your man doesn’t want to hear about him. Even if you think it, don’t say it. Ridiculous right? He gets jealous over your little celebrity, fantasy crush that could never be anything. Well think of it this way, he is loving you with everything in him. He is sacrificing for you, caring for you, and giving himself for you. And then you go and say something about some famous musician or actor or model…and your man can only think about the recognition some stranger gets for something as futile as looking nice in good lighting and photoshop or singing well into that auto tuned mic…while he has poured his heart out for you and it seems to go to waste because your attention is elsewhere. Maybe you’ll read this and realize you’ve never thought about it that way…that you wouldn’t like him to talk about Natalie Portman in the same manner. Or maybe you think it is ridiculous…but the truth is it’s the truth…it’s just how we are#endrant
